OUR STORY: Once upon a time there was Eyraudplants...

Cyclamen culture is a tradition in the Eyraud family, since the first Eyraud generation was already busy growing this product in 1960.
A forerunner in the cultivation of young cyclamen plants, the family first started their business selling young plants in the Rhone Alps and Paris regions in 1981.

Proficient in the art and craft of growing cyclamen, Jean-Pierre and Philippe Eyraud established the GAEC EYRAUDPLANTS company in 1987: a horticultural production plant specifically conceived for young plant production.

The company quickly gained great respect and popularity among growers and producers, the production plants constantly grew reaching today's 30 000 m2 of covered crop area.

Three years after its foundation, EYRAUDPLANTS initiated a cyclamen seed production and selection program, in order to develop its own cultivars and consolidate its future success and expansion on the market. In the past 6 years the company has been working at the improvement and development of its own cultivars with the precious collaboration of the University of Lyon.

At present EYRAUDPLANTS produces 7 million young cyclamen plants covering 20% of the domestic market. The enterprise today is considered one of the main European young plant producers, thanks to the efforts and resources devoted to research and improvement of its cultivars.
