Technological innovations
The constant increase in sales has driven the company towards
an ever increasing automation.
Eyraudplants has effectively robotized the pricking off of young
plants. The state-of-the-art robot used for this task allows,
by means of a camera, the calibration of the young plants and
the subsequent processing of up to 7000 young plants per hour.
Always bearing in mind the achievement of ideal growing conditions,
Eyraudplants avails itself of a Cabrio greenhouse completely
equipped with mobile trays. This allows the perfect control
of environmental conditions and that can thus be tailored to
different production periods.
Genetic innovations:
For the past 10 years, in order to consolidate its development,
Eyraudplants invested in a research and variety improvement
program in cooperation with the University of Lyon. Today, the
result of this cooperation is symbolized by a major cyclamen
range adapted to all types of culture and sales periods.
Special methodologies and tools have been developed in cooperation
with the University of Lyon to support varietal selection (molecular
biology, colour and dye chemistry...).
All the resources and efforts invested in this important research
project allowed the development of a wide range of F1 Hybrid
Cyclamen. |
